De La Hoya calls for Mayweather rematch after Floyd announces 2020 return

They're both 40 and it would pull big money for Floyd, so...

Although one has to wonder why he didn't call out Manny.

Man, make it happen just for the simple fact that for whatever reason, Oscar is so damn bitter towards Floyd. It can't be just because he lost. It's gotta be something else to it. Settle it in the ring.

IMO the one sure fire way to spot a casual fan is to see whether they care about what Floyd is doing right now. His history tells the tale of a man who doesn’t seek fights of significance. That isn’t going to suddenly change on his way out.

No way! Now it's done the Canelo way, "If you don't like another fighter, you just don't fight him" :-)

I wouldn't put him in there with anyone active, if that's what you mean.

And I think Oscar is just bitter because frankly, the end of his career wasn't defined by Manny stopping him. It was defined by Mayweather beating him when he wasn't supposed to (because Oscar held every advantage, unlike Manny who had the advantage in their fight) and because they both retired before a rematch could happen.
