The NBL and if this were a REAL SPORT

The thing about it is, we have the NBA, the NFL and the NHL and MLB. In boxing, we have the WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO and whoever else starts up a bull**** organization. None of the other big four who actually have prestige and status, claim any kind of world bull****.

We need the NBL. The National Boxing League. We had the NBA years ago. We need the NBL. An organization that says come and fight for us and we award champions and then you are the champion and that's it. You defend your title against the number one contender once a year and if you don't, you get stripped and that's it.

Boxing is a laughing stock with these hundreds of titles. You gotta win four trinkets to be the man?

This will never be a real sport without organization.

Boxing is a lawless state and until there is 1 ruling, governing body to ensure fair play in the sport we are going to have this lawless wild west version of the sport. So yes i would like to see it all under 1 governing body rather than 4. Personally i wouldnt mind 4 aslong as it all led to undisputed but with a thousand BS reasons why the best fighters cant be brought together its all just too messy.

But if we are honest about its always been about money and it will continue to always be about money and nobody is going to be giving up anything that makes them money.

Maybe one day a passionate billionaire boxing enthusiast will buy up all the 4 major governing bodies then merge them together into 1. Assuming either of those things is even possible.
