He's not - they just pick up a load of quotes from the same interview and trickle it out here.

AJ has now mentioned "the real reason" he lost the first Ruiz fight but no-one seems to have picked up on it at all. At the time he said there was nothing wrong with him but now he claims there was.

... and, according to him, what was "the real reason"?...

Lol sorry....I meant Fury and Wilder have two fights next. If Fury loses the February one it doesn’t really matter, the third fight is the most important one to win, as the winner actually gets to walk away as the WBC champion.

They’re only fighting once, it’s a poorly worded thread. Need to read the article to get it.

usually boxers tend to do better in the rematch than punchers because they adapt, i just hope wilder boxes more and doesn't spend 12 rounds looking for the perfect punch like he did last time. he needs to use his jab more and throw some body punches but i think he is prob more in love with his power now than he was in the first time.

He’s not making excuses, but there was a good medical reason he lost to Ruiz, and that’s all he’s gonna say. Maybe he’ll tell us after he retires.

Yes, that’s basically what he said.

I believe Wilder’s team will have him prepared to throw the jab and try to win some rounds while trying to set up the knockout punch. If they go into this fight thinking their only chance to win is the knock out, then they already lost because Fury will be scoring to pile up the rounds towards a decision.

Don’t you wish sometimes fighters would come out and say how they actually feel. I believe what Joshua is really saying is, “I fancy my chances better against the likes of Fury, I can take his power better mate.” LOL!

I think we all know they are fighting twice this year. So whoever won this first one doesn’t really matter.
