ya...in theory
but think about this...al haymon is no dummy....if he still believes in the ppv model than youve got to believe there is still a market for it
youre gonna pay for what you want to see...i have no problem paying for fights i want to see
we will see what lasts longer..ppv or DAZN.....because ill tell ya...i didnt think id see the day HBO went out of the boxing business....but the day haymon bounced and took his fighters ? well it didnt last a hell of alot longer for HBO after that did it?Comment

As long as the two bouts aren't showcase fights then I can accept this arrangement. If its two mismatches I'm going to be pissed.Comment

Carl Frampton fractured both of his hands in his last fight. So he won't be involved. Not knowing who is scheduled for when but from their list of fighters I see that some combination of the following being theoretical for that fight:
1. Shakur Stevenson, Carl Frampton, Oscar Valdez and Michael Conlan
or
2. Oleksandr Gvozdyk Gilberto Ramirez, Eleilder Alvarez, Jessie Hart and Artur Beterbiev
And I seriously doubt that they are going to match Shakur Stevenson against Oscar Valdez or Conlan.
So it's likely going to be a one-sided showcase fight featuring one of Top Rank's guys.
Which is fine if they lower the cost of the PPV. But if it's $75 then forget it...I'm out.Comment

With less than 2 months to go I doubt they can arrange any meaningful fights for the undercard. Most of the big names are already tied up. We'll probably see Navarette in a tuneup and the other fight will be a PBC prospect against a soft touch.Comment
