There is no proof that Margo had plaster for Cotto I. That is a convenient assumption pushed by Cotto's team. His team was offered the same chance to inspect Margo's gloves that Mosley's team was and they approved the gloves. They never said anything suspect about margo's gloves or having other worldly power until AFTER the mosley incident where they found their excuse for Cotto's loss. Cottos face always bruises easily in other fights. Further in their rematch, cotto still had a hard time with margo stylistically and still took a battering only this time he was fighting a margo who had a broken eye socket by pacquiao and was able to target that and eventually force the stoppage.


Go look at clottey's comments on his fight with margo, he said he doesnt believe margo had any special wraps in his fight, he lost but he never got busted up. same with common opponent with pacquaio, he also lost but never got busted up like cotto did, he keeps a tighter defense is why, cotto is actually rather easy to hit and his face swells up.
