ATLANTA Gervonta Davis made the weight on his second trip to the scale Friday. The former 130-pound champion came back to Compound, the nightclub where he first failed to make weight for his lightweight title fight against Yuriorkis Gamboa. Davis officially weighed 134 pounds on his second attempt to make the 135-pound limit for their fight Saturday night at nearby State Farm Arena.

Clarification needs to be provided because I'm under the impression that when you miss weight the first time you get 1 hour to attempt to make it on the second try. His situation I was feeling like was over one hour by the time it was announced & I believe that I'm correct so why was he given 2 hours to make weight? Also this was conducted by the WBA from my understanding the same people who gave him Machado's super title.
