I think Rocky could give him trouble, and if he moves up one more time then he will get all he wants in Diaz, Chico, and maybe even Casamayor

to the OP. ppl or critics who make a P4P list generally based this on a fighter's recent bouts, probably the last 2-3 years, but it's not a rule, that's why it's always changing, a bout or two can jumble the standings quickly.

so when you said Pac got "recently got KO in 99", that's not really recent and ppl who makes this list doesn't really look back that far. having said that, and a Pac fan, i still have him as 2 or 3, but i could also make the same argument for floyd as what you did and make myself feel good if i put PAC at #1.

Let me guess, Floyd is #1 right? Because of those CRAZY wins over Bruseles, flat footed Gatti, Mitchell, and Judah.

I don't agree with Pac being P4P # 1 but you can't minimize what he's accomplished. He didn't just beat MAB, he ANNIHILATED him which no one has been able to do. The excuses for MAB are silly just as Pacs with the socks & blisters. MAB got his ass handed to him; bottom line. Pac also was the first person to legitimately knock EM down & stop him which no one has been able to do; not even Raheem. You have to remember the guy came up from Flyweight & he's fighting at a very high level & KO'ing top fighters. To minimize what he's done & who he's fought for the last 3 years is crazy.

Clearly biased thread. I read the first paragraph and realized what agenda DLT has.

                    Winky is p4p #1, btw.

In part it comes down to how do you determine P4P - on how good they look, on how tough the opponents are, somewhere inbetween, how recent were their best wins, ....?

I rate Pacman highly because he faces a consistently high level of opposition, and has some impressive recent wins over future hall of famers. PBF also has great wins in the past, looks great, but no wins against elite level fighters for many years. Winky is a tough cookie, knows how to win but also sometimes fights not to lose and puts me to sleep. He needs to rematch with Taylor or else will probably slip down the rankings.

Take your pick from those 3.
