Canelo pulled the same BS tho... Most of his fights have asterisks beside them outside of Lara and Jacobs.

Manny has alot too just the least outta the 3

Anybody that presented a style nightmare, count Floyd out. Too big of a risk.
Guys who had height/reach advantage, had some good boxing fundamentals and the iq to keep Floyd at the end of their jab, Floyd ain't going nowhere near that. Unless they were shopworn like Oscar, or he can handicap them.
It's why he chose flat footed, slow Maidana over Khan. Floyd has a ton of the same flat footed slow Latin guys with no reach on his resume for a reason.
Conor McGregor, Floyd was cool with cause I mean, come on. It's Conor McGregor, but you see how much problem he posed to Floyd with having a good jab. Floyd had to count on him not having no other tools in the tool belt, not much experience boxing, and gassing before he could take over.

Prime Amir Kahn vs. Floyd would’ve been an AWESOME fight to watch. I think Khan has enough speed, skills, and length to give Floyd problems.
Khan always succumbed to being KO’d but Floyd didn’t go for KO’s just pillow jab his way thru. He never fought him tho.

Same goes for Margarito and Williams. Floyd chose a flat footed, slow Baldimir over Margarito, and was conveniently tucked away on vacation when Williams emerged at ww.

Why do you think Floyd, chose to fight Marquez, after a two year "vacation", and he got the full green light to cherrypick. Because he is a slow, flat footed Latin guy, who Floyd had significant height/reach on, and he still handicapped him. Not to mention he was moving up from lw to ww in one fight. Plus, he can exploit his fanbase.

Come on man this 'prime Khan gives floyd hell' stuff is ridiculous it takes.. or should I say it took the average top fighter around 4 rounds to time Khan and get to him

Are you seriously telling me the most accurate welterweight of his era with almost perfect conditioning,a cast iron chin, a great defence,a 54% ko ratio and every advantage possible in Vegas would have got beat by Amir Khan? Lol..

It would have been ridiculous after the opening rounds where Khan's going hell for leather Floyd would be lighting him the fcuk up once he gets the timing and Khan loses a step like he always does it would be target practice for Floyd it would actually be a dangerous fight for khans health ridiculous fight

You do realise why pac was more methodical vs floyd dont you? Because if he just came rushing in trying to throw in bunches floyd would have had a field day with him and no idiot glass jaw throwing 4 or 5 punch combos and staying in range to admire his own work is going to beat Mayweather

                Canelo was a unified/ring champ and p4p#9

and Manny was p4p#2 and WBO champ..he threw with both arms the entire fight man...Please kill these excuses...

Hell Thurman was injured before and after the damn fight with Manny is that an excuse??

YES. After the first Castillo loss and then running for dear life to avenge the loss, he cherry picked and paid his way to wins.

Picking judges and refs, making Maidana wear pillow gloves and paying him off is not taking a risk.

Edit: Yes, both Pac and Cancel have taken far greater risks than Gayboy.

Pacquaio is also a shorter guy than Floyd with a shorter reach. Of course he has to be more measured. Khan don't have that issue.

With Khan, the sentiment is he would have created problems with his style, but above that, why did we not see it. Floyd certainly had the opportunity to show us. Khan won a poll that Floyd cooked up, and he still chose a fighter who had a safer style to deal with on paper.
I mean, don't none of that raise an eyebrow a little bit?

No. Pacquiao would never face Canelo. Not then not now, never.

Pacquiao would also not have faced Chino back then IMO.
