Before Kovalev fought Canelo, he was ranked #1. Nobody said Kovalev was not a “legitimate” LHW. Everyone wanted Kova to unify with the other belt holders. It’s like saying “why should Bivol fight Kovalev, he should fight Beterbiev or Gvozdyk.” Yet everyone would still want Kova to fight anyone.

You guys just salty that Canelo, significantly smaller than Kova in ring, KO’d the Krusher. It’s one of the best knockouts of the century considering the class difference. It will always be in history as a throw back fight.
