You stand 5’5 with a 65 inch reach and possess Gamboa speed and power. It’s fight night. How do you defeat Davis? What weaknesses can you exploit while protecting your fragile self?

Second: I would have to have an air tight guard at all times. I would have to fight on the inside and avoid tanks lunging attacks. Fight dirty if I had to, to frustrate tank and throw him off his game.

Davis has a cosmic sized head, so my game plan would revolve around popping jabs and straight rights upstairs. Because his small body can barely support his head as it is, the inevitable swelling would cause his body to collapse under the pressure leaving him unable to beat the count.

Sounds like a pretty standard underdog/road warrior type of game plan. Not sure why people still think fighting dirty is an option. A ref who won’t let rough stuff into a fight completely derails your chances like with Ruiz vs Jones JR.

Well there is legal dirty and illigal dirty. If you can do both. Try to get away with as much illigal as possible before getting warned. And legally you can just try to take any unconventional advantages to sucker punch an opponent when he has his guard down in transition of a break or touch up. Tank does that **** all the time and it's perfectly legal. Just a little douche baggy. If Gamboa wants to win he needs to do all of this first. He needs to play the same game tank is. Tank will 100% take advantage of anything you give him. If you aren't gonna do the same with him then you already lost.

Here’s a perk that comes with being undefeated:
Refs tend to protect the younger, fresher fighter in the same way you protect a car that has no dents in it; you don’t want to be the first jagoff to scratch the thing. This usually means a guy like Gamboa (two losses) will be under a microscope while Davis will be allowed to do what Davis does so long as it isn’t outrageous.
