Problem with Ruiz is that he's been out of shape his whole career. Hard to see that changing now. It's not that he's unfit just that he could be maybe 5 or 10% better if he really applied himself. That's the difference between a very good fighter and an elite fighterComment

Andy Ruiz Junior has all the momentum still, to really shake this division up 'He lost the rematch, but he was not beaten up or exposed' He just lost to a better prepared fighter on the night in Anthony Joshua.
I want to see Ruiz Junior in a big fight again early next year, no later than spring time.Comment

You on it. Ruiz has been given two cracks at the HW cash cow; and he might have gotten a 3rd big money fight but he blew it by letting fame and the rich life get to his head.
The Fury-Wilder winner vs AJ is going to be the next fight fans will want, not AJ vs Ruiz.
I don't care if Ruiz disappointed himself by not training adequately for the rematch. But by doing so, he fcuked the fans (and the sport); ultimately he pocketed the money just for showing up. And I can't get behind that.Comment

Excuses, excuses, excuses, take the loss like a real man would, learn from it, prepare better next time, and move on to the next fight. I wouldn’t even say Andy Ruiz blew it in the rematch because styles make fights and that is the precise boxing strategy Joshua has to use against a fighter like Ruiz. And Joshua would need to use that same strategy if there is a 3rd fight. Same results will happen. Box, clinch, move, protect, manage the distance, and score enough each round to get the decision. Joshua can’t trade with Ruiz. It’s as simple as that. Boring but effective.Comment

Leave Andy alone ! Those who don't should get in the ring with him. Then we will see if your balls are as big as your mouth!Comment
