It really seems like Tyson Fury does not want, to fight any of the top heavyweights.

Boxing is a business opportunity for him now 100%, people used to discredit Floyd Mayweather 'For thinking too business minded, when he was choosing his fights' But if you really look at who he fought and when? Floyd Mayweather never ever stopped chasing greatness.

Tyson Fury has had two fights at elite level, he should be thankful David Haye did not fight him when they where 'Scheduled' to fight.

lol @ all these people who are screaming Fury is a duck. The dude came back from years of drugs and depression and after 2 tune-up fights schooled Wilder. It's truly amazing how some people just refuse to admit their mistakes and keep on hating

The hate for Fury is so clear in this thread haha. Don't trip over yourself as you rush to criticize the guy. This thread is the perfect example of why I have such little respect for the boxing community.

In reality this is probably just good marketing for Fury. Get WWE fans talking about him and then get the MMA fans on board as well.

Lol, wrestling fans and mma fans. The heavyweight champion of the world has his own fans. Pandering for converts in other sports screams confidence breakdown. If we can't win here, we'll win somewhere else.

Absolutely. I wonder about it. It feels like he doesn't stay focused on one goal for more than like two months. He was all in for the wrestling, now he's promoting Wilder II, and teasing toward mma. It's a little much.

What I hope is that he is in a good head space, that boxing isn;t dominating his spirit in a way that hurts him, that isn't detrimental to his mental health. He has said that was part of his downward spiral before - that everything defining his sense of self was wrapped up in boxing. So maybe his being all over the place is a sign that he's happy, that his personal life is what gives him meaning, and that the sports is kind of "just for fun" on the side.

Of course, if that means he isn't 100% focused going into these fights, he risks a lot.

                    Tyson Fury

It seem's the world is anxious to see Fury and Deontay Wilder fight, as it should be a great battle. But on paper it appears Wilder is a better boxer.

However, Fury has great skills too.

Fury will never fight MMA unless it's against special chosen fighters who offer no threat
