Miranda vs Abraham using Austria rules?

Promoter Wilfried Sauerland stated on Tuesday that “in Germany, we take doping problems very seriously.” Banbasat says Miranda’s camp is still taking every possible precaution going into this bout, commenting "we are traveling to fight in Germany, yet we are being overseen by the Austrian (not German) boxing commission. That would be like fighting in Florida and being overseen by the North Dakota boxing commission. It just doesn’t sound right. I hope that Austria takes their doping issues as seriously as Sauerland says that Germany does!"

What is this all about? Why would a German promoter fighting out of Germany use the Austria Boxing Commission? I have never even heard of boxing in Austria!! Sounds a little fishy to me. Anyone heard of this before?!?!

Stop complaining buddy. Come August, Abraham and Miranda will get into the ring and Miranda will eventually be on the canvas yelling, "I want Jermaine Taylor." It doesnt matter if they use German, Austrian, or Antartican boxing commission to oversee the fight.

      I'm not complaining *******, I am asking a question.
Does it make sense to you that a German Promoter in Germany is having an Austria commission oversee the fight?
This kind of **** doesn't happen in the US, so I am asking why it is happening there...

Only answer I have seen as of yet is Wilfred Sauerland and the German Boxing Commission had a 'misunderstanding'.

Does this give Sauerland the right to use any boxing commission it sees fit to oversee their events (especially an unknown entity like the Austria one)????

I'm sure Don King has had his share of mishaps with the Nevada Boxing Commission, but I don't see him throwing events in Vegas using the South Carolina commission.

Whether it effects the outcome or not, it is a very interesting question that no one has been able to answer.

The german boxing commission is largely controlled by "Universum", the other big boxing promoter in Germany. Sauerland and Universum don't get along very well...

Abraham is acting like a little ***** with not allowing Miranda to wear the gloves he is most comfortable in. Miranda is ****y as a son of a *****, but if you meet him he person, he is cool as hell.

I say Miranda by TKO in the 9th or 10th round.
