    Respect for a legendary boxer

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is a beautiful thing to behold with his wizardry defensive skills and connecting clean combination in rapid succession while evading the other fighters punches. A Glorious man, a pride for the boxing community and my utmost respect to him. I have a feeling that Floyd Mayweather Jr. is going to be Fighter of the decade, no, I am sure of it.

PS: I don't care what the haters, trollers and cheerleader fan say. That is my standing and my angle.

lol. look at the Floyd diehards.

Floyd made $500 million (from 915mil, more than 50% from the decade of fights) off of Pac and McGregor.

Floyd used a hype in Pac, a smaller fighter than him, and a MMA fighter with no pedigree in boxing, all designed by Haymon to get 10%. Haymon made 90million in advisory fee off Floyd....

Messi, Ronaldo, these guys never had the luxury to choose such level difficulty. As much as I don't really care for footsy, the reality is that their sport is the hardest level even till retirement.

So in actuality, Ronaldo is the world's most challenged athlete of the decade.

If Mayweather ruined ppv with his fight with Pac, then why did he sell almost just as many ppv when he fought McGregor as he did when he fought Pac, some two years later?

Except fight night scales show that Mayweather is actually same size as Pac.

            Mayweather vs Judah: 146lbs

            Mayweather vs Baldomir: 149lb

            Mayweather vs Vic Ortiz: 150lbs

            Mayweather vs Maidana 1: 148lbs

            Mayweather vs McGregor: 149lbs

Mayweather vs Pac: 149lbs compared to Pac's 152lbs (but Mayweather is so much bigger right? Lol).

PS. The networks (Showtime/HBO) didn't weigh Mayweather for the fight night, or rather Mayweather didn't let them weigh him, however, due to the TUE application that Mayweather submitted for dehydration, he was subjected to a mandatory weigh in for USADA at the night of the fight, and he weighed in at 149lbs, 3lbs smaller than. Pac.

I don't believe in fight night weights. The fact that Pro FORMALITIES in boxing create contradictions such as a Networks graphics in ''X-Network's unnoficial fight night weight'' means it's for suckers.

You really think Floyd just rehydrates 1lb of water from a scale to fight night? ''unnoficial'' are obvious disclaimers.

Good on Mayweather. I always admire people in any walk of life who dont squander their ability and I feel Mayweather was one of those.Hence lived a clean life as a athlete eg no smoking/drinking to excess or drugs.

Since 2006. Look how much bigger Floyd's torso alone grew. You really think he'd be the same size on fight night with Baldomir and McGregor? Networks are bullshetters man. ''unoficial'' are guesses because Team Floyd don't want them weighing them.

Floyd couldn't even make 144lbs for Marquez and remade the contract to 146lbs. Floyd can't shed 2lbs of water yet the average human can easily do that in a sauna session?

Mayweather ruined PPV with his boring fight with Pacquio that’s why Canelo took that 400 million today fighters have a hard time reaching 200K in PPV no one will get a 1 million buys anymore cause people don’t want to pay 100 dollars for fruit cake fights today’s Champs cherry-pick fights avoid top fighters because they’re with Arum ya thanks Floyd for F N up great fights ................................................ The deal that Canelo 'took' was 365 not 400 million. And he didnt get a check for the full 365 its 35 mill a fight so he still has a long way to go to get the full balance. PPV isn't going anywhere and Canelo did himself a major disservice by removing himself from that platform. He has like 8 more fights left to get to 365 mill and there aren't enough DAZN American middleweights to justify fulfilling that contract. But dont you worry boys and girls, Uncle Al will see to it that Errol and Deontay splits up the money that Canelo left on the table. When Mayweather signed his Showtime deal he was a certified BOSS. He picked who when and where he fought. Nobody forced him to do anything. Canelo is quickly finding out his deal is not a BOSS deal. He's been saying he's not going to fight Andrade or 3G, but if he folds and fights one of them next then everyone will know he's no BOSS. Boy Canelo is getting some terrible life advice. But what do you expect when you have a manager that is a ******* abusing alcoholic that likes **********s to stick kitchen utensils up his arse! Bottom line is Canelo needs to get out the contract with DA-ZASTER and Golden girl and start Canelo promotioons. Sign an exclusive deal with Showtime and promote every fighter he can find south of the border. Thats the 1 billion dollar Mayweather PPV plan. Canelo is still only 29 years old and has 10-15 PPV fights in him before retirement. He still has the potential to surpass Mayweather's financial earnings, but he needs to act now!

I am all for Mayweather or any other boxer making a lot of money.

Just wonder that if it influenced other fighters in the wrong way meaning that it caused some fighters to over inflate their own value in the marketplace.

The Pacquiao fight took a long long time to even come off. Just wonder if if influenced some fighters to stall their career out waiting for that one big monster check.

In short, it's great he got paid, but was it good for boxing as a whole?
