    Mike can't train at all.
Is chopping wood, anything like throwing a punch? Yes, that is why boxers historically have chopped wood.

Bio-mechanically hitting a tennis ball, especially using the back hand? Has similar mechanics to swinging a powerful hook, or body punch etc

To say hitting a tennis ball has nothing similar is not entirely accurate 'From a bio-mechanical perspective'.

They do that for explosive muscle training, not technique.

They are nothing alike, they are the opposite, one is focused much more on rotational movement and transferring body weight, the other much more relies on arm power.

      Zero technique is transferable.

          There is none.

I trained my sister to punch with some pad work, and after about 10 minutes he skills were far superior to Serena's.

Unless the "Wow" was because on how bad she was.

Haha I don't think so because Tommy seemed to be impressed by Peter McNeely and his resume so needless to say the guy is easily impressed

Boxers chop wood for explosive muscle training and rotational strength. 'Chopping wood has transferable mechanics and muscle firing patterns, that will help a boxer harness/deliver more power when throwing a punch.

Just by observing a tennis player hit a ground stroke, to say that it has zero mechanics similar to throwing a punch is clearly wrong 'Ether you are just disagreeing with me for the sake of it or you have a shallow perception'.

If people are honest with themselves on this specific subject, then they would all agree that a Tennis Player striking a ball 'Uses similar mechanics to a boxer throwing a punch'.

I think Serena's punching technique proves my point.

Have you ever boxed, have you ever played tennis?

Nothing you learn from one can help you with the other one.

Science proves my point 'Specifically bio-mechanics'

I am done with this thread, I have explained as to why there are similarity's 'And it is not hard to understand'.

No it doesn't, no more that scratching my ass help punching technique that is bio-mechanics as well.
