American fighters should learn from the Tony Harrison situation

Sign with someone who isn't going to throw you in the garbage after a couple of loses. Harrison had lost to a journeyman and a champion. Knocked out in both fights. That right there would make most promoters release you from your contract because they don't want to spend the money rebuilding you. Or they'd sell you as the B side to another promoter. You wouldn't be worth their investment because promoters protect the 0 more than the fighters. Then can sell the 0. They can't sell a guy with two KO loses. Especially when that guy was never really a big ticket seller or got monster ratings. But at PBC as long as you want to keep fighting you'll keep getting opportunities. It's on you to take advantage of those opportunities.

Another is that most of these fighters would never be looked at as main event fighters by other promoters. Anyone can see the star potential of Gervonta Davis. But fighters like Jermell, J Rock, Ugas, Plant, and many others aren't what boxing fans were conditioned by HBO to think should be main event fighters.

Just like Austin trout I can’t think of a fighter with as many tittle shots in 1 division Harmon get guys opportunities but I still think Ortiz should’ve took the 7 mill for the Joshua fight and wilder should’ve taken 100
