When Errol first started talking, I thought something was wrong, but he sounded ok after that...and also sounded ok when I watched the interview a few more times. Of course he's still recovering and probably on medication, so he may not look as energetic as people may be hoping for. He's also a laid back type of person anyway. It's a good sign if he's already been working out and doing a lil roadwork, as he stated. Hopefully, his comeback is not rushed and he's fully healed upon his return to the ring. It remains to be seen if the accident will affect his performance in his future fights. We just all have to be patient and watch as it unfolds. One thing we know is that the boxing ring is the truth detector, and anything wrong cannot be hidden once in there against top competition.
I really hope Spence is ok.

Spence is inevitably headed down the road of alcohol abuse and mental illness. It's sad to see, but between the hits to the head from boxing and brain damage from the accident and the predisposition to alcohol abuse, he will struggle emotionally.Comment

He lost his glow and shine and the definition in his jawline and neck, his eyes seem glassy. It was like an interview with a ghost. His skills and timing and reflexes and motor skills will surely be deteriorated and even if it's just a fraction, he could get hurt badly. Haymon will need to rig all his fights from now on. It's a miracle Spence is alive and standing and doing this interview. But it will take another miracle or two to get him back to the condition and fitness and high level he was pre-crash.Comment
