Some honorable mentions: Rios/Alvarado 1 and 2, Figueroa/Arakawa, Matthysse/Molina, Maidana vs. Soto Karass and Josesito Lopez. Can't forget Salido against Lopez 1&2 and Vargas. Froch/Groves 1 was great too as it made me realize how the UK had its own distinct atmosphere, how I wish Groves would've won. I'm sure I'm missing other fights.
All of my favorites from this decade are gone or soon will be retired: GGG, Kovalev, the Argentinian Musketeers (Maidana, Martinez, Matthysse), Rigo. IDK how Pac still has the motivation to keep going, but his career won't last much longer. I hope his career ends on a positive note.Last edited by kiaba360; 12-21-2019, 12:24 PM.

You’ve got a good memory for these things, man. A lot of good fights, to be sure. Time waits for no one. Sad that a lot of these men will be done soon. Hopefully they’ll be replaced by worthy fighters.Originally posted by kiaba360 View PostSome honorable mentions: Rios/Alvarado 1 and 2, Figueroa/Arakawa, Matthysse/Molina, Maidana vs. Soto Karass and Josesito Lopez. At the beginning of this decade, I couldn't get enough of boxing. Now, I've gotten jaded. That isn't to say that there aren't compelling boxers and match-ups, but we can never get excited about any logical match-ups for fear that politics will get in the way. J-Rock vs. Hurd was one of those fights that rekindled my desire to watch boxing again, whereas Joshua vs. Wilder is one of those match-ups that illustrates the drama that suffocates boxing. At times, it feels like the bad outweighs the good.Originally posted by CubanGuyNYC View PostYou’ve got a good memory for these things, man. A lot of good fights, to be sure. Time waits for no one. So many careers have also ended this decade too, that would also be thread worthy.Last edited by kiaba360; 12-21-2019, 04:40 PM.
