Little was learned in his first fight following his 140-pound title reign, as Dallas' Hooker disposed of late replacement Uriel Perez inside of one round Friday evening at Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. Don’t really see how hooker expects to drop back down, he was out of shape for this fight and doubt he can drop back down. Regardless, didn’t see much power seeing how he dropped a late replacement with a clear behind the head shot and then deliberately hit the guy when he was down.

It’s really amazing the reach Hooker has considering he’s not that tall. He’s got the average reach equivalent of a guy 6’6” if I’m not mistaken...
