Actually no, people like Robbie Barrett are still staunchly defending him and claiming it's a ploy by Haymon to protect Spence.

Kavaliauskas has a solid Olympic and amateur pedigree. I wouldn't go so far as to call him a can. Significant underdog? Absolutely - and (unofficially) the first man to drop Terence Crawford.

I'm interested to see Bud mix it up with some better names soon...it is not easy to move up in weight as he has done, and will be interesting to see who the top man (or two) really is at 147...also at what weight Bud tops out at...he looks pretty solid physically at 147 right now which is a good sign.

Won't happen as long as people make excuses when he's put on the spot in an interview and basically he no longer wants 'da smoke'.

Fair enough...never saw the interview but hopefully he takes the Porter fight if it is there...would be a good litmus test for him and an inroad towards a bigger fight...I like your sig pic/story btw
