DAZN showing highlights of Munguia and Andrade...

I haven't followed either guy that much. I think I saw one Andrade fight a while ago.

I mean...I know these are highlights but...no wonder NSB is so high on these two. They're the textbook definition of 'eye test'.

Munguia. Liam Smith is his only REAL win. A decent win, but Carnelo dispatched Smith in much more definitive fashion.

Andrade. Wow. Maybe...Sulecki? And even that's pushing it a bit, but Sulecki did give Jacobs all he could handle.

So I ask, NSB. SET ASIDE YOUR 'EYE TEST' TENDENCIES. Based on WHO THESE GUYS BEAT, what convinces you that either guy has a chance against The WBC Carne Franchise Champion, Carnelo 'Beefy' Alvarez?

Well if you dont know andrade then i cant help you. Hes been boxings best kept secret for years and noone has had the stones to fight him .canelo ducked him in 2014/15 when andrade was his mando and moved up but came bk down to fight liam smith for the same belt later on. I have always said andrade beats canelo

Mungia is absolute garbage. He only had success because he was 3 divisions bigger than his opponents. His defence is non existent. He will get sparked fighting guys close to his own size.

        Let's try the question again.

BASED ON WHO HE BEAT, what convinces you he can beat Carnelo?

His resume is thin cause he is clearly being ducked by canelo and golovkin. The dude has the wbo belt and they still dont wanna fight him, hes resorted to having to fight sulecki and keeler. Heck bjs oulled out then when he was offered again for andrades belt he declined. Even at 168 bjs didnt want anything do with him. Ive been following andrade for years and hes definitely suffering from being ducked all the time he can be the american face of boxing

Thats what i will base on him beating canelo. That and the fact canelo doesnt like dudes who can move good on their feet (see lara or mayweather)

not seen munguia but have obv heard about him
think of Andrade is a better/bigger version of Amir khan basically. Arguably he should be outboxing Canelo, until canelo lands/hurts him, then it's a question of how tough he is. We've never seen Andrade tested there....so to test that against canelo is pretty scary.

Jacobs can move good on his feet. Didn't seem to bother Carnelo a bit.

Khan can move. Didn't bother Carnelo very much.

Golovkin was moving in the rematch. It got G a loss against Carnelo.

So while yes, in the past Carnelo has gotten outboxed and went close with movers, he's way evolved since.

I don't support the ducking narrative. I see a guy who hasn't fought anyone and as a result nobody sees him as a high reward fight except boxing elitists.

Jacobs can move good yes, but he has never been a mover his while career or has it been ingrained in his style like andrade has been doing since the olympics

Khan can't be compared to andrade thats an atrocious comparison, khan has no defence at all not forgetting he started off at 135lbs. Andrade barely gets touched in fights and is a natural mw

Golovkin; yeah an ancient golovkin who in his whole career as a stalker kind of fighter never utilised slick footwork and blocked punches with his face is now a 'fighter with good footwork' another half ass comparison.

Andrade is in his prime, hungry and hasnt been in any wars so is completely fresh. His style is an absoloute nightmare for canelo. Canelo was getting outmaneuvered by a faded 5 years out his prime kovalev who is primarily a puncher and a brawler at his peak. Youre meaning to tell me andrade is Choosing to fight keeler and sulecki? Gtfo here dude the guy is clearly being ducked.

Meh. I agree with Inspired, because that's exactly what I see: Amir Khan a few steps up, nothing more. 'Eye test' personified.

Amazing how many guys Ginger has fought with no belts, losses, no fans ... yet can find so many resons BOT to fight an undefeated guy with a title and a belt.

Yes lately, Alvarez has fought very credible opponents, but avoiding Andrade goes way back. It's a fight I think he prbably wins, but the excuses and rationalizations to not fight are ridiculous If Rocky Fielding was a worthy opponent surely Andrade has been for all of these years.

He found reasons to fight Amir Khan even ....
