yes it was a schooling....but lacy was never near a p4p list...especially not after that fight...

canelo is a top star and a top 5 p4p fighter....
Joe would have done the same thing to canelo if he was around at the same time. Probably beat him even easier than floyd did.

I just re-watched the fight last night and boy oh boy was it a complete textbook destruction on all fronts. Can you think of a same level or better example? Floyd was right though - the more accolades Canelo gets, the sweeter that W becomes.

Yeah well that’s “Golovkin” a guy we all like to shet on because he’s a pssy but in all reality he would have given Floyd a tough fight and maybe even KOd him. Don’t forget that Canelo moved up to fight Golovkin and in the first fight he schooled him and won 3very exchange and in fight 2 he made Golovkin retreat. The fact is a green Canelo is very different than a prime Canelo. A prime Canelo would KO a prime Floyd easily, but Floyd fought like a coward TBH and all we would see is him run like Joshua so stop bragging cuz none of us wanna pay to see him run away from the great one

Floyd fans can’t explain why he didn’t attempt 155 for Canelo’s Middleweight Lineal. Floyd fought DLH in 2007 at 154. The older you are the harder it is to shed the water and weight. So in Theory would’ve had more comfort fighting Canelo again at 155. That’s the only logical explanation...

This is how we know that fight wasn’t even easy for Floyd! Floyd ditching the Lineal Middleweight title when Cotto or Canelo won it is hilarious if supposedly those were easy fights for him. “Easy fights” is something Floyd fans came up with without thinking.
Moretti must have watched some other fight on his phone. I'm not even talking about that draw scorecard

Easiest wins in Floyds career Canelo JMM Manny .
Jmm was PACs kryptonite yet PAC still beat him 3 times if not scoring error and PAC didn't avoid him.
Floyd ducked too many to find who his kryptonite was. Plus he never beat anyone twice. He never beat maidens and Castillo twice as he lost the first fights.
If Floyd fought PAC 3 times hed lose twice at least. If he fought PAC 10 times hed only win once and it can't be proven otherwise.

                  Power Punches
                  Mayweather Alvarez
                  Landed 93 73
                  Thrown 175 232
                  Percent 53% 31%

Mayweather only had a 20 punch power punch advantage over Canelo and landed less than a 100 power punches all fight.

                  Was this really a schooling?
