Mikey is 5' 6", and has spent much of his career at feather and lightweight. I think he's not thinking smart by trying to avenge his lone loss at 147, where many guys are bigger and taller than him.

Granted Spence is an especially big welter, but also these guys are usually rehydrating to 154, if not more, whereas Garcia (IMO) is not a natural WW.

There will always be meaningful fights at 130, 135 and 140, and now that he has signed with Matchroom, why would you want to languish in a division that has a PBC monopoly on fighters with the exception of Crawford?

That is probably the only big money fight available. Whats he gonna do, just keeo moving up?

I wouldn't mind seeing him square off against Loma, but that is like expecting Wilder and A.J to suddenly come to terms and fight early next year.

I'll reply to myself. If you're fighting Jesse ffffing Vargas I have no idea why you are fighting at 147 other than your fat ass can't make weight anymore.

Giving MG benefit of doubt. Glad to see his lack of offense in his last fight didn't sit well with him. He should handle Sergio in later rounds.
