    Freddie Roach's Improved Speech

When I first started hearing him talk I thought it was another person at first. Has he found some new successful medication or treatment of some kind? Glad he is doing well, this makes me feel very hopeful for all those suffering from Parkinson's disease.

WTH I've never heard Freddie Roach this lucid before. He's not shaking,He's not slouching and his speech is just fluid and lucid.

I'm not noticing much difference? I don't think he has deteriorated though, so that's a positive in itself.

You may have something here. Seems like a con****uous difference to me. Where can I sign my pops up as a guinea pig in whatever beta program Roach has been in?

          Wow
I have never seen him in this state
I honestly thought he was deteriorating, I seen him more slouched over and his speech was pretty darn bad but it’s great to see him like this
Something has got to be working for him , good to see

Yeah I was immediately surprised and jumped down to the comments hoping others took notice but seems only a handful have so far. Easy to talk junk about his predictions or recent Chavez fibs but cast that all aside and just witness a man almost reborn.

I wonder, are there just really good days and really bad days? Or is there something new that's working? Commenter mentions Michael J Fox is looking better recently too.

Seems really drastic to me but I probably should have made some comparisons before posting. Either way it's not hurting anyone but thanks for respectfully disagreeing.

If there is some new wonderdrug or treatment I hope it is soon available to your father. I send my love and best wishes as I know how it feels to have a parent with a neurological condition.

He's just more relaxed. Stress makes Parkinsons affects worse.

Thanks man, likewise. In fairness right now he is at an early stage (basically 1 on the Hoehn and Yahr scale) that mostly manifests as a sporadic moderate tremor in one hand with no other real impairment to speak of, so he is fortunate in that regard and has more time/leeway than many others, but it's cool to see something like this that may be indicative of something new on the horizon.
