Just look at the Wilder vs. Ortiz situation. Everybody was predicting this a failure. Tickets weren't selling. Nobody wanted to see this rematch so nobody will but the PPV. What happened? Second highest gate of the year only behind Canelo. Fought a Cuban who doesn't speak English and did about the same amount of PPV's as Canelo when he fought a Cuban who doesn't speak English. This is Wilder's second PPV. He's right where Floyd & Oscar were on their second PPV.
Meanwhile Top Rank is struggling so much they're struggling so much they have to take fights overseas even though ESPN is paying them to grow the sport in America.
Tell me why do you think people are trying to sell the narrative of PBC being a failure while ignoring real failures like Top Rank and DAZN?
Usually I read your sh**t and laugh but right now I'm pretty stoned and having read that I just gotta shake my head partner. Does any of this mean a damn? PBC, Top Rank, DAZN, who cares? There's gotta be more to life than this.

Who are the people selling a narrative that PBC is a failure? If a PPV flops then it would be reported especially when one predicts they are going to sell X amount.
