When I first watched Hurd on Shobox he was a smooth boxer with decent power then he started to knock out his opponents the more and more he was shown on TV. I think he fell in love with his power and thought he can outgun everybody until Jrock beat him.

Hurd to me is just like another good fighter Paul Williams a guy who always use his height and reach but they were easy to counter

One fight won’t change those bad habits developed by his former trainer who talked dirty about Hurd and didn’t even give any advice during the fight!

No use your jab or use your reach or keep your left hand up when Williams came on the inside or not even tying your man up to allow yourself to reset just basically told
Him to fight harder!

Hurd needs at least 2 camps with the new people to incorporate those techniques and tune up his defense, otherwise Rock is gonna beat him up again but worse!

Am sure Hurd knows he has to do VADA random testing right? The last time Williams said that we had Hurd not exercising his rematch clause.

If it does happen there has to be rigorous drugs testing. Hurd got very quiet when William's was asking for drugs testing in a rematch
