Straighter quicker punches for one not to mention he’s knocked much better opposition. Breazeale was ranked in the top 10 when they fought Ortiz in the top 5. It’s one thing to say Ortiz hasn’t fought this guy or that guy another thing to say those guys don’t want to fight him he was in the top 5 for a reason so don’t try to undermine that and as far as second fight with Wilder anyone who knows boxing knew was settling up Ortiz for the right hand which was an excellent execution of a game plan on a top 5 opponent so yes he’s improving understand what you’re looking at meanwhile Fury fought 2 guys who shouldn’t have been ranked in the top 20 and should have lost to one not to mention the 2 knock downs at the end of the first fight.....decline

Been a looooong time fella, I know of ten unbeaten HW champions from 686BC to now. You know Marciano is one of them...not much of a point whore was he? Here's a tidbit, all 9 of the remainder are like Rock and Wilder, not great points fighters who all made a ****load of money and lost plenty of times.

One form has dominated, multiple times, because that form is the truth in boxing. It is the goal of the sport, everything else has been added to make others more competitive and they've still yet to produce a single champion nearly as dominant.

Loads of weak eras, what's the excuse for the points *****es? Why is there no unbeaten points HW champion? Maybe there's a serious flaw with the points fighters? Maybe warping the meaning of the sport to the point where the KO is secondary hasn't actually produced anything but close calls like Holmes.

Maybe I know about 686 and still managed to miss the point of the story
The art of boxing is hitting without getting hit.
They used to fight in a small circle and take it in turns to punch each other until one was knocked out. No blocking, no ducking or movement just stand and take a punch.

That was prizefighting not modern boxing as such. Modern boxing has only been around since 1880.
