Anyone that thinks Porter beat Spence doesn't have a boxing eye, and shouldn't be taken seriously.

Oh, and good luck to Crawford and Porter making that fight on their own.

        It’s a New Day

The days of promoters telling star fighters who to fight are over.
Today’s fighters have a business mentality

salute to the changing of the guard

You need to get your eyes checked.

I hear what both have said, and they kind of repeated each other, but I don't really fully understand it? Like what do they mean they have to "agree" to fight? Like either they want to rumble or not. Porter's are damn near close with everyone. Kenny will say he was close to Thurman or how much he loves Spence and now it's how close Shawn and Bud are. I get it, Kenny and Shawn are close with all these young US national fighters. Great! But Porter fought Spence/Thurman. And I'm sure Shawn/Bud are close, but are they really THAT close? And didn't Kenny already mention he is interested in the Crawford fight?

“I look at all of the welterweights, and I think that Porter is the most competitive with Crawford,” Arum said. “And the reason I say that – I didn’t believe that before the Spence fight. But Porter was, you know, he lost by a whisker. He and Spence, that night, were equal. So, everybody said that the Spence-Crawford fight would be a great fight. God knows when or if it’ll ever happen, so Porter is the next best guy. He proved himself with Spence.”
Good ole Arum at his finest. After the fight he said he scored it 8-4 Spence with the KD and said there was no skill in that fight and they were just slugging it out. Said no way Porter won, but now is saying it was a great fight that could have gone either way LOL.

The judges beat Porter that night, not Spence.

                  Porter? Porter? Really?

Porter has lost and loses to every top guy he's faced.

                  Crawford is a joke

What’s the point in watching a fight where two guys have warm and fuzzy feelings towards each other
