Absolutely not a knockdown and I don't understand why so many on here think it was a knockdown. Actually it was the other guy who grabbed Crawford after he landed a good punch and he wrestled and mauled Crawford to the ground. Without the wrestling Crawford would not have gone down. He was NOT knocked down by a punch. He was wrestled down. Glad you made a thread about it because so many are saying Crawford was knocked down when he wasn't knocked down. His chin is very good and he has never been knocked down.
It’s a knockdown because he’s punching the entire time, hitting the body. You may not like how it looks, because it’s not the best looking knockdown, but the fact is, he was still punching and hitting the body through the entire sequence.
I keep seeing slo mo replays posted of this, I had to go to the real-time video to see for myself.
My view, he gets hurt, goes onto his knee while attempting to hold on. I wouldn't call it a k/d but if the ref did I don't think anyone could (or would) complain.
Even from that video you can see his legs didn't just give out on him. He didn't fall because of the previous punch, he fell because he was thrown off balance.
