The Ring/TBRB 147 champ was vacant after Floyd retired.
Spence, Thurman and Porter were ranked ahead of Pacquiao going into the Pacquiao vs Horn fight. Going into the Crawford fight, Horn was ranked #8 by The Ring.

Mayweather Jr. was Lucky when he fought at 147 that everyone wanted to fight him, if he had come around a few years later he would have had the same problem Crawford is having with the top guys not wanting to fight him and if Crawford was at 147 a few years ago EVERYONE would be wanting to fight him.
Classic case of right place at the right time for Mayweather Jr. and wrong place at the wrong time for Crawford.
People wanted to fight Floyd because he was a cash cow, and the believe was if you can beat him, you will take his place as the cash cow.
Same with Canelo.

Only a fool would believe that PBC isn’t choking and starving the division out, and I’ll explain why one more time.
Haymon treats his fighters purely as commodities.
The safest way to get ROI in boxing is via the softest route to a belt (or belts) possible.
Fight only as often as minimally required against sub-par opposition whilst following the old script about ‘wanting the best.’
Haymon can work his model this way not only because of his deep pockets but also because some fighters are happy to do the bare minimum for the greater reward.
It’s more cynical and damaging than the way DK use to run his business-at least he made big fights and was around!

C'mon man
I like bud but horn got a gift in Australia and I think he damn near lost every fight since then not only that but he stopped zerafa I think from fighting for a piece of a title with a cry baby I'm not sure let's sign a rematch clause (ANTHONYJOSHUA) THE KING AT REMATCH CLAUSE bud u havent beat the man yet and if you really wanted that smoke for sure you would've signed with pbc when you had the chance not saying I dont feel you're not getting your fair shake but if you really was thinking about fights wise you couldve walked to pbc

“The man” refers to The Ring and or Lineal champion of the division.
Pacquiao was neither of those when Horn beat him.
When calling someone an idiot, at least be sure you know wtf you’re talking about.

Bob refused to pay Manny his $20million demand as compensation to fight Crawford. Bob maneuvered Pacquiao into a brink of retirement which was successfully done in Australia.
Brought the belt back to USA by setting it up for Crawford.
Classic Top Rank. This is how they exit their prize fighters.
Crawford, you got a gift from daddy Bob. Don't kid yourself if you try to exit Top Rank and didn't see it coming

Its pretty obvious crawford meant Pacquiao is the man because of his star power and resume. Spencer hadnt fought anyone worth a danm, porters best win was malignaggi and garcia was still living off the mathysee win. Smfh your a dumbass.
