WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford is hope to secure the other top names in his weight class. On Saturday night at Madison Square Garden in New York City, he dropped and stopped undefeated mandatory challenger Egidigus Kavaliauskas. Crawford is having trouble securing the other names - because nearly all of them are promoted by Premier Boxing Champions, who have exclusive content deals with Fox Sports and Showtime.

Agreed. People like to pick and choose when wins count when it suits them.

The man is 36-0 and a 3 division champ. He’s #1 in any division he’s fighting in until he loses. PBC guys should go shut him down if they think they can. End of story.

I could go on and on Daggum. Ugas beat Porter, Golovkin beat Canelo twice, Herrera beat Danny, and Vargas beat Broner. You got any more you want to add?

Ironically a few years ago when Floyd Mayweather Jr. was the 147 Pound Champion Everyone wanted a chance to fight the best, Now Crawford is the champ he has a hard time getting people to fight him, What happened to the 147 pound fighters? They no longer want to Fight the best? Yet EVERYONE at 160-175 wants to fight Canelo because most think he is the best.

Mayweather Jr. was Lucky when he fought at 147 that everyone wanted to fight him, if he had come around a few years later he would have had the same problem Crawford is having with the top guys not wanting to fight him and if Crawford was at 147 a few years ago EVERYONE would be wanting to fight him.

Classic case of right place at the right time for Mayweather Jr. and wrong place at the wrong time for Crawford.
