Did Crawford want to look beatable to the PBC guys?

Let me be clear, I'm not trying to make excuses for Crawford. I never really believe it when elite fighters claim they looked more vulnerable because they changed up their style to please the fans. We've heard that excuse many times before, and I think Crawford said something like that to explain the competitive first half of his fight.

But does anyone think that Crawford took it easy in the first half, so the PBC guys will be more eager to get in the ring with him to try and take his belt & his undefeated record?

After all, when a reporter told Roach that Thurman struggled in his comeback fight with Lopez, the first words out of Roach's mouth were, "I want that fight," and sure enough, that was Pacquiao's next opponent.

No the straight right is a punch Crawford has gotten hit with several times in his career. Egis is a hard puncher with an educated right hand. Its that simple.

          Naaaaaah that's a reach.

Crawford was really upset about the knockdown and wanted to rip Egis head off from that poimt forward.
