I dont think Cyclone have the ability to put on a Taylor card anymore. All their other boxers have left them, and Taylor has outgrown the Channel 5 TV deal, if they still even have it.

He'll be signing with someone co-promotionally soon, and luckily Taylors relationship with Shane will keep Barry clinging into the sport

(ie Mikey Garcia gets through the Jessie Vargas fight in style, and then looks to make the deal with Josh Taylor at 140 for the WBC/WBA/IBF 140lb titles for Showtime, which DAZN will have to match and find a decent opponent for).

They could, but I dont think PBC are interested ìn the UK anymore. Eubank Jr talks like his futures is in the US, and the ITV deal seems to have finished, havent had a card on their for 6 months, all the big US PBÇ cards are Sky now.

Top Rank could come in for Taylor though, they sound like theyre going to start doing stuff in the UK next year.

Difficult to get excited when you have few talents to work with, tbh.

With Joe Joyce going to BT Sport, Degale retiring, and Frampton and Selby basically going with MTK Global to BT Sport as well, the UK franchise is basically down to Eubank Jr (and apparently Isaac Chamberlain, somehow).

Outside looking in, Josh Taylor would be a nice addition to things, and Barry McGuigan wouldn't have to give up control of his business to do it (also wondering what Frank Warren would think if Bob Arum really was planning to place his business in the UK).

You do right by Eubank Jr, Chamberlain, and possibly Taylor (Floyd just signed Viddal Riley, and Lou DiBella is partnered with that Irish 168lber), after what they've already done, you start opening the door for the top UK talent to consider Haymon/PBC as a viable path.

Matchroom Sport will still get their pick of the top UK talent, and Frank Warren will get his share too, but now the "odd" talents with ability have a path maybe open to them.
