Noone is saying bud wasnt buzzed btw, but goin out of ur way to prove it was a kd just cause its bud is just hate, we see this all the time in boxing like floyd vs shane or corley...and floyd is considered greatest of our era, anyone can get hurt even with someone not expected to hurt them.
Bud won the fight clearly and cleanly. I really like the determination he showed. I have no hate for him at all. In fact I'm happy that he gave us a fun, grinding type of fight. That doesn't change the fact that his opponent stunned him and continued throwing "punches" and landing a few, while Bud was trying to hold or "grapple". That was probably a smart tactic on Bud's part, because it's possible that his opponent could have tagged him even harder and cleaner had Bud not gotten in close to hang on. There's also the possibility that Bud had to to hang on because he was too hurt to use his feet to get out of range. I definitely think Bud's balance was compromised from the initial hard punch and then he was getting hit while holding and that it was a legit knockdown. None of that mattered in the end. That was a fun fight and we know without a doubt who the winner is.

Nah Kavaliauskas didn't put his weight down on Crawford with that last rotation.

Look at it again. Definitely not.

Crawford got hurt, dropped and unofficially knocked down because his dumb ass was fighting in the southpaw stance. As soon as he went orthodox, he dominated.

Hopefully this will be a wake up call for Crawford to stop showboating with the switching stances nonsense. And whoever advised Crawford to fight like that is an idiot.

I thought it was a take down, not a knock down. Just because a fighter gets hurt doesn’t mean the other fighter can do what ever he wants, push, shove, use his weight on you, to knock you down and then fans can just disregard what the fighter did to put down the hurt fighter.

Crawford has been fighting soft touches lately, so honestly I wish it was a KD. Would be nice if one of his soft touches can actually knock him down.

At 32 years old and a top 3 P4P fighter, he should be fighting top ranked, notable fighters.

all he did was continue to throw punches. a take down is what ward did to kovalev. there were no pushes or shoves so im not sure why you are saying that. crawford was the one trying to use his weight on kav and kav just kept punching till he went down. are you saying kav should have to stop throwing punches while crawford grabs at him? thats silliness.

Would have been interesting if Kava had stepped back then to give himself some swinging space.

What he was throwing at TC when he had him hurt didn’t look like punches to me. It looked like he was trying to get TC off of him by pushing him with his hands.

I couldn’t care less tbh. For all I care TC could’ve lost the fight and it wouldn’t bother me. Not like he’s fighting anyone worth a while. Last good opponent that he fought and I was excited about was vs Postol.

Kav got in the way of his own work
Had he stepped away , pretty damn sure Bud would of stumbled to the mat
And there really is nothing wrong with it , he just got caught no biggie there
We all saw what how the fight ended
One of the better fights to see Bud in recent times
