Talking of good trainers, how many trainers have taken fighters from when they first train walked into a gym as kids to a world title? And not just inherited already good fighters

I know the Ingle gym has taken quite a few fighters from kids to world level. I think Enzo Calzaghe trained 3 world champs from kids too.

Oscar de la Hoya raves about him as a trainer to this day.

tyson Fury went with SugarHill Steward, so someone from the Kronk gym that worked along side Emanuel Steward, smart choice,!?

I dont know enough but I bet it is, probably everyone working along side Steward picks up a ton of the skillset, you see that in other lines of work, when there's one exceptional guy everyone around him usually starts getting awesome too

The boxers themselves, that's who. If a boxer don't feel like training, no trainer can make him.

Kay Koroma "Coach K" should get some credit. He's Shakur Stevenson's trainer and is now the lead trainer for Team USA's Olympic team. Jarrett Hurd just switched to him also.

That’s a good shout, and to be fair Rhys and Enzo Mac were very limited fighters.

Indeed, but still, when you consider it was just a gym in the middle of nowhere in Wales with probably a limited talent pool, or limited amount of boxers at all, it’s a pretty impressive success rate.
