Comments Thread For: Lomachenko To Lopez: Welcome To My Club, See You In April!

The short amount of time needed by Teofimo Lopez to claim a lightweight title wasn't nearly long enough for his next potential opponent to dissect or critique. "I can't explain, it was just a couple of rounds," Vasiliy Lomachenko told ESPN's Bernardo Osuna of Lopez's explosive two round knockout of exiting lightweight titlist Richard Commey (29-3, 26KOs). "This is boxing, it happens. He always power. He's a smart fighter, but it's a different opponent."

For some reason, unificate sounds so rude... like a combination of urinate and defecate lol

I wish Loma, Teofimo Lopez, Ryan Garcia, Tank, and Devin Haney could be in a tournament @ 135! Throw in the winner of Farmer vs. Jo Jo Diaz too!

Right now I'd have it as

            1. Loma
            2. Lopez
            3. Haney
            4. Tank
            5. Garcia

Teofimo Lopez deserves praise and a apology from the media and fans, Lopez won the IBF in 15 pro fights against the #2. champion at lightweight in spectacular fashion ; silencing the haters and erasing any doubt in a highly criticized performance against Masayoshi Nakatani earlier this year.

Commey-Lopez was close to even money on the Money-line, when was the last time that Bumchenko fought a opponent close to even odds?

Now the kid is going in for a unification against top 6-10 P4P fighter in the world. Boxing is in a good place 2020. Hopefully Teofimo ends the hype of Bumchenko for good.

I pick Lomachenko in the fight. Tough fight though and if Lopez lands on Lomachenko there could be a surprise ending. I believe that Lomachenko said he wants Davis after Lopez which would also be a fantastic fight.

Lomachenko only wants worthy opponents. Lopez has proved he is worthy.

The rest of the frauds in the division are a a disgrace.

Loma moves back down after this fight and maybe try to unify superfeather next.

                    I rank talent not accomplishments

#1 Gervonta, #2 Lomochenko, #3 Teofimo all three are at the top pound for pound when it comes to being slick, aggressive and power. The best 3 in any weight class, who will prevail is the? I will pick Gervonta all day if he showed the discipline as the others but when I look at his weight fluctuations I have to question this! Lomo has the least power of the 3 but probably the hardest worker and most experienced of all. Lopez has the best combination of goods, mentally, power, ability so very balanced.

                    I’m just saying!
