He went orthodox in one round and managed next to nothing, barely able to get off on the inside. At this point he seems more comfortable as a southpaw.

Or maybe he got exposed? Maybe he underestimated a complete nobody. Maybe he's the new GGG? Crawford looked flat-footed out there, absolutely no head movement. Not the skill level you'd expect from a guy of Crawford's stature.

He switched after machine was hurt looking to finish. I'm not talking about offense I'm talking about defense man.

tbf, egis was timing Crawford very well. Whenever the action slowed down, Egis got the better of it. Crawford changed his plan and it worked. Crawford has a crazy gas tank and I think he knew he'd last longer in a dog fight than Egis. It's insanely difficult to come forward and not get hit, so yeah Crawford's defense all of sudden looked like dog sh it, it's not easy.

Yes, he turned during a flurry and failed to stop him, then went nearly the entire next rd orthodox and failed to get off like he had been. His defense improved anyway even as a southpaw, like it does every fight. Crawford has always had this weakness of getting caught big at points. Literally the one weakness of his always noted. He has lapses.

The rd he fought orthtodox he was still as open to the same punches, he fights squared up but his offense is worse than when he’s a southpaw, if it were the early rds he’d be eating the same punches. Like I said, at this point he’s a better southpaw, he’s only fought his entire career mostly southpaw after all. I dunno why people think he’s still holding something back by fighting southpaw instead of orthodox.

You could be right but "the essence of boxing" is really one man's opinion vs another man's opinion.
Somebody might say the essence of boxing is to ko your opponent, and who can say it's not?
As for Floyd, no doubt a great defensive fighter, but in order to stop his opponents offense, Floyd sometimes held 30x in a fight, how can that be "sweet"

Nah man his defense just wasn't good enough. Loma comes forward like that and doesn't get hit flush multiple times how Crawford was
