From my vantage point at the fight it looked like a knockdown. Either way Bud broke down a tough customer. Kavaliauskas didn't look great against Ray Robinson but showed up primed and ready last night. Good win for Crawford. Would love to see Porter next. Old Bob and mystery man Haymon need to put this one at Barclay's with a decent undercard.

Call it a knockdown if you want. But it’s up to interpretation. Ref’s often don’t call these messy wrestling KD’s. Crawford got hit, but you can also see in the replay the final hook of Kavaliuaskas cuffs on Crawfords right arm and pushes him over. Crawford isn’t going down from the punches, he is absolutely going down from the manhandling. Even if he was buzzed.

The Ref didn't call it a KD so move on. It's like arguing because not calling it cost the other guy the fight. This isn't the case at all. I didn't see his legs go and afterwards he showed no signs of damage. It was a good shot but the end results says it all. To think Garcia, Porter or Spence would knock Crawford out is forgetting they can get caught too. Garcia was beat by Lamont Peterson but they robbed him. I heard the same thing about Gamboa being a hard hitter but Bud knocked him out.

It was not a clear cut knock down, as the fighters where entangled 'It looked like Crawford's arm was hooked, and then he was pulled down or forced off balance'.

Crawford's durability is quite good within the welterweight division, but I don't think his durability is strong enough to move up through the weights 'Into the 154/160 division's'.

Crawford's stance/style is very rhythmic, he seems to have similar bio-mechanics as Roy Jones Junior.
