Lol. I thought Lopez was bigger than Loma!

Loma fans love to pretend he’s a natural Featherweight and walks around at 135 pounds, lmao.
Saying Loma is about 150-155 pounds naturally is not a criticism, it’s standard for fighters to walk around 10-30 pounds above their fighting weight. Loma and Lopez are both pretty much the perfect Lightweight size, not too big or too small.
I guess they just like to pretend Loma is a tiny guy slaying giants and that he’s at a weight disadvantage in every fight.Comment

Floyd cuts 7lbs when in camp. That’s about 155lb towards the Welterweight scale.
He then cuts water to hit the scale and simply shed water weight. It has always been this way. Look at Floyd on the scale and he is more ripped, thin cheek boned. Fight night he is more filled. You even see it in the Floyd Cotto fight. Floyd was 151 on the scale. He was bigger on fight night. Floyd was a minimum of 5lbs over that. So 156lb MINIMUM in the ring. It’s the basic eye test and industry protocol.
And lastly, Floyd ain’t walking around as toned as he was on fight night with Cotto. In fact Floyd looked even bigger on fight night against Canelo than he did with Cotto. Just look at google pics, look how much more filled he is than the Cotto fight and yet Floyd made 150 against Canelo.
Those are all by design from Floyd and Haymon. It’s the reason why Floyd didn’t disclosed weights.
Floyd has always been bigger walking around than his fights with Canelo or McGregor. And that is about 160lbs MINIMUM. Floyd way bigger than Loma any day of the week, so if Loma is 152lbs walking around do the math and general common sense.Comment

Right, but if he's just gaining fat in between fights it won't matter if he is160lbs in his walking weight, he may very well still be a small lightweight.Y’all as in all y’all talking about this “protruding gut”.
I agree with your point about Floyd staying in shape to maintain the 150 walk around weight but my point wasn’t that Loma is as big as Floyd but that’s he’s bigger than folk claim. As I said, there are those who like to pretend that he’s too small for lightweight to create the illusion that he’s overachieving.Comment

That makes absolutely no sense. What other fighters do you apply this standard to, where the only thing that counts regarding a fighter’s physical build is muscle?" If you’ve got to cut 15-20lbs just to make a division limit then you’re not small for that division.Comment

There have been a lot of disclosed weights by Floyd over his career, google tale of the tape for him and he had quite a few pre fight weights shown. Lots of guys dont show all weights for all fights but to say none is BS.Floyd cuts 7lbs when in camp. That’s about 155lb towards the Welterweight scale.

I cant say Ive seen a actual a scale weight over 150 for Mayweather .
you cant compare one guys weight to state another guys weight, we have all sorts of differences in bone density, water weight, muscle weight, especial between a black guy and a white guy they are made up different.Comment

But you got no issue with the guy claiming he walked around at 150 tho. Later in his career, Floyd wouldn’t even reveal his unofficial weights...the idea he “walked around” at 150 is a myth. He was so severely dehydrated from cutting 3lbs, he needed an IV doe...Comment
