Comments Thread For: Peter Fury Warns: Pulev Will Not Be Easy For Anthony Joshua

Veteran trainer Peter Fury believes Kubrat Pulev is a formidable foe for a showdown with Anthony Joshua. Earlier this week, the IBF ordered Joshua to make a mandatory defense against Pulev. Last Saturday, Joshua reclaimed the WBO, IBF, WBA, IBO world titles with a twelve round unanimous decision over Andy Ruiz in their highly anticipated rematch in Saudi Arabia.

More like my son was defeated I hope it’s a tough fight for Joshua , so we can compare to it !

This should be a relatively a danger free fight for Joshua style wise . Pulev makes most look bad , can’t see this being one.

Pulev wouldn’t be easy but the big risk is he underestimated him mentally like he did Ruiz (in my opinion).

His record isn’t all that bad, losing to Klitschko a-side he has beat quite a few rank10-20 style opponents such Chisora and fury (hughie).

Obviously AJ would be as strong favourite though but will be really intriguing to see how Joshua approaches the fight following the Ruiz fights

I want to see AJ fight Usyk not this bum Pulev. Even klitscho KO'd this guy at his peak now he is an old man and will easily lose. Can see they will avoid Usyk for easy pickings it's a no brainer.

I find it amazing how after all this time, his only defeat is to Wlad. He actually has a better resume than Wilder, which i'm dumbfounded by However I think this is the near perfect opponent for AJ, I'd be surprised if he didn't win by KO.

Since Pulev is so danger free then maybe Joshua won't fight like such a pussy this time and won't be so scared to exchange.

The fans can only hope anyway.

                That’s probably about right.

Still, considering some terrible mandatories fighters get these days, it’s not a bad fight at all.

This is a great tune-up fight for AJ. Slim chance of losing. Odds will be 25-1 in AJ’s favor. Pulev good days are far behind him.
