Comments Thread For: Kell Brook Expected To Make Ring Return in February

Kell Brook is expected to return to the ring in February as the former IBF welterweight champion looks to rebuild his career after a blank 2019. The Yorkshireman has not boxed since December last year when he had a tougher-than-expected time against Michael Zerafa in Sheffield, before claiming a unanimous points decision.

Ruined his career to save Eddie a card and didn't make enough money to retire. Should've taken the unification fight with Vargas. Win that and you set up a big fight. Instead he got his other eye broken by Spence.

That's what happens when you don't have somebody looking out for your best interest.

100% correct. I actually developed a liking for the guy after the way he bullied Shawn Porter and is still the only guy to beat him convincingly IMO. That GGG **** shouldn't of ever happened.

Kell Brooke needs to get his ass into the ring again. No time to retire, I'll be happy once he wins a big payday fight to prove that his name can even be spoken as a great in boxing again. Hopefully that break off was all for training

I'll be looking forward to his return. He takes tough challenges, and he'll travel for a good fight. Good enough for me.

A great month for Kells Brook to return, Eddie should stage Kell's next fight here in the States because February is National Cherry month, also known as the month of Pies over here.

Is Vanes Martirosyan out of jail? I know Martirosyan is a grade higher than the typical Kell Brook opponent, but Matchroom really needs to take a chance here, Kell Brooks career without Amir Khan is worthless, desperate time calls for risk.

A great in boxing? That's a good one... Kell Brook will never b considered a great in boxing, maybe in the UK where their standard are very low.

Takes on tough challenges? He's fought 3 tough fights his whole career after 10 years of fighting bums.

We will wait and see what he does when he gets back into the ring. His age is growing and has little time to prove what he can do.

Kell brook is severely under rated. He beat a prime porter before anyone else did. Gave Spence a good fight. He beat up Zerafa who just tuned up Jeff horn. There’s a reason why Terence Crawford fought A mere con And not an available Kell Brook
