Good point on Boots Ennis. He's cracked the Top 15 in the WBO and IBF, which could lead to a title shot if he had a connected promoter behind him. Last I heard, he was in some type of promotional dispute.
Let's assume Spence has to drop the IBF belt. If Top Rank could step in and settle Boots dispute with his promoter (i.e. pay the old promoter off), maybe they could get Boots a title shot on ESPN against the winner of the Uzbek guy and Lipinets. That would create another legit fight for Crawford at least, but I don't think PBC will match anyone with Boots until there's a 7-figure payday in it.

I don't like it either. Shame because Spence is my favorite WW right now besides Manny.

I have a feeling Spence is in rehab. It seems so strange Spence hasn't said anything, friends, etc. Supposedly Spence just had his teeth messed up. I don't believe it was only his teeth. I don't get why everyone is so hush, hush.

The odds are likely that Spence had some type of head trauma and if he struck the front of his head he almost certainly has some brain injury, seizures/epilepsy... all too common in situations like this. And that's if you are lucky.

I hope in time Spence is better.

That's all I'm going to say about it.

They said that all Spence suffered was some scratches to his face and broken teeth. However, internal injuries may have also occurred that they found later and are keeping under wraps. I mean realistically, wouldn't we be seeing him out and about and/or in the gym if he were tip top?

How about Arum considers displaying a tiny sliver of decency and respect and let Spence or his team release a statement first. Whether Arum has accurate information or not, it's not his place to be commenting on Spence's health.
