That’s not how it works. LHW’s drain to make 175. Canelo didn’t have to drain at all for LHW. Even at 168, Canelo looks filled.

Benavidez walks north of 200lbs... so does Zurdo, Callum Smith... those guys are naturally bigger guys than Canelo, and unfortunately their optimal physique is to be thin at those desired weight classes but realistically they COULD be fighting at LHW.

If you compress Andrade or Jermall Charlo to Canelo’s height while they maintain their weight they would look like hulks too.

Also I think he fought at CaneloWeight (155) for 3 or 4 fights to avoid the challenges at reg'lar 160. Post-Mayweather, he might be the worst for the A-side imposing crap terms against opponents.
