Ruiz looked good in the workouts beforehand, people were confident he would stop AJ in the rematch. Ruiz spoke of what he needed to do for months as everybody knew what AJ was going to do.

A few of us, including myself doubted that he could pull off the game plan of cutting off the ring and forcing AJ to trade as while he has lightning fast hands his feet are very slow in comparison. This was all it was, as long as they ever face off in the ring I would back the same outcome as Saturday night.

AJ played right into Ruiz hand the 1st time out, and was smart enough to learn from mistakes and adjust.

... ... in fact, Arum is that old that he just can't keep track of his own words, tbh...

Probably right. Can't take it out on AJ for choosing to be smart and ignore any tough pride. Just wanted to see him "fight his way back" not box backwards if you know what I mean..Peace!

... AJ only used his available tools, tbh... AJ doesn't have an inside game, and he has a poor head and upper body movement... So he had to run... It's as simple as that...

He might have had a chance if he trained properly.

These guys know he has weighed over that before and was told by Roach he’s better fat ,many on here were claiming it to .

Had Ruiz won the experts on here would be claiming how smart of a strededgy it was to do against the lighter AJ of 237 pounds .

At the end of the day Arum talked to much on how easy Ruiz was going to win and how AJ couldn’t box and when he’s wrong has to attack and flip the script like most on here who ironically are the Wilder fan girls ,lol

P.S Ruiz was around 275 with all that wardrobe on.
