To anybody who thinks Mayweather will really be fighting in February too

Get a clue. Nobody today fights every four months, especially Mayweather. This is the same guy who in 2005 after beating Bruseles said he would fight THREE MORE TIMES that very same year. He fought twice more, which was good enough, but Floyd does not come through on many promises. He won't be fighting in February. He'll fight in November like scheduled and then May, but he will NOT do 3 fights in 7 months like he's saying.

I disagree. He will definatly fight in Feburary. You guys have to remember that HBO set up the date for him because its on his Birthday. If the fight is with Shane or Hatton then you know he would definatly take it. If Margarito gets a nice win and still offers Floyd big money then I think he will take that because I still think Floyd just doesnt feel comfortable fighting him now because Zab & Mitchell are totally different fighters then Margarito.

They arent big, Margarito is a righty, and its a totally different style. Thats why he wants a tuneup with Baldy who he thinks can do some of the same things as Margarito but isnt a real threat. When he beats Baldy easy then he will feel much more comfortable with a Margarito fight.

I think he definatly takes the Febuary fight because its on his Birthday, it may be in his hometown, and it keeps him sharp for Oscar and like I said, he will definatly do it if its Shane or Hatton.

Besides its still 3 months and 20 days so its basically just like 4 months

we all better hope he does or we will have to wait a loooong time before seeing him fight shane mosley. ANd if mayweather fights baldy (which seems to be happening) its possible that he could win the fight very easily and fight again in februrary with no harm done. IS it likely? hell no. but could it happen? most definetly
