Comments Thread For: Jacobs: Whether Chavez Or Rosado, Won't Deter Me To Do My Job

Daniel Jacobs doesn't care who he fights next week; all he knows is that he's knocking somebody out. Of course, the preference for the 32-year old Brooklyn native is his originally scheduled opponent, which for the moment remains Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. The pair of former middleweight titlists are slated to collide Dec. 20 at Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona, although their DAZN headliner remains dependent upon Chavez Jr. clearing up lingering issues that could prevent him from being licensed on fight night.

Lol...With these opponent options we don’t care either.

The win was delivered by DAZN’s match maker.

GO Sit down somewhere, Gabe. Your skin is still tenderized from that GGG pounding. You're gonna start bleeding around your eyes in the dressing room b4 the fight even starts

There you go Jacob's. That's the way to hype up a fight and get more subscribers to DAZN.

Id like to see Chavez get a fight and somehow whoop Jacobs’ ass.

Jacobs has been on cruise mode in his last couple of fights. It’s as if he just wants to go through the motion while making as much money as possible. I cant knock on that but as a boxing fan, it’s a turn off when a fighter plays it safe all the time.

Jacobs can certainly do more offensively but for some reason, he doesnt put everything into it.

I hope Chavez beats his ass

Jacobs' last KO was Sergio Mora... More than 3 yeas ago. So good luck with that.

Spot on! Thank you. Professional boxing is a sport AND an entertainment. And Jacobs entertainment value has plummeted .. fighting like he's sparring.

A person wants to root for Chavez jr sometimes but there's lately always something going on, as in the weight is difficult to make, and now the drugs test controversy.

It would be hilarious if the promoter just decided to let Chavez fight Rosado
