As far as weight clauses, Canelo and his people always deny everything till it's proven. I don't know how many times Kovalev got weighed prior to the fight or any other special requirements Kovalev had to meet to get paid and I'm fairly certain we will never know but that crap takes a lot out of a fighter, especially an older one. You can't deny that Kovalev looked weak as a kitten

Maybe you don't care about special weight stipulations so long as your guy is on the side that it benefits. Personally, I don't think the a-side guy should be able to buy special consideration in a title fight. If it doesn't bother you, then it doesn't bother you.
