If you were Crawford wouldn't you want to be added to the pbc welterweight roster? I get that he makes tons of money fighting the Kavalaukaskious's of the world but he's not getting any younger. He should chase greatness.

Hell, look how proactive Brook has been trying to get the fight speaking with Crawford twice and Bob Arum. This is my take on Porter. Before him and Crawford became worldclass fighters they made a gentlemans agreement as friends that they would never fight unless all belts were on the line. Now that Porter doesn't have **** he wants to break the agreement but is too prideful and embarrassed to speak with Crawford directly about it because he already knows what Crawford will say. So Shawn tried to get around that by having his daddy run his mouth to the media hoping Crawford would take the bait but Crawford is holding Shawn to his word as a man. This is why you keep hearing Shawn talk about how he needs to talk to Bud about it but he wont pick up the phone and do it.

And the thing is, you have to look at what he said. Because it's true.

When you got Crawford going on DAZN saying he's "not even thinking about that fight" and all this mess - Crawford won't even mention Porter's name as a fight he wants. Shawn will, Crawford won't.

Crawford's fans: "Because Crawford wants belts/wants Spence" - yet Crawford trying to get McGregor and Brook. Silence.


No. Crawford doesn't want that smoke. High risk, high reward, and he's into low risk, high reward.

He said that same bull**** at the Wilder/Fury 2 fight. Why didn't he do it then when Crawford was there? why hasn't he done it now? he got a phone like you got a phone right? read my above post. That's my stance on it.
