I am taking Ike for these reasons:
-He has been fought more often in the past couple of years against MUCH better competition. Phillips and Bojorquez are infinitely better than the two Forrest fought.
-He has improved with his performances in each of his fights back. He was dropped by Phillips and showed a lot of ring rust, but he still pulled it out. In his next fight (against a more straight ahead fighter) he showed better reflexes and ring awareness. His jab looked crisp and he was letting the right hand go more often and more accurately. He wasn't catching so many left hooks either (a punch he is/was susceptible to).
-Ike hasn't been injured like Forrest has. Forrest sustained an injury that could have killed his career...I think it hampers him more than Ike's layoff does Ike.
-Forrest will not be stronger than his opponent. Ike is naturally very strong and will be able to hold his own against his taller opponent.
Ike by decision.
