Baldomir is 5'7". PBF is 5'8". You're dreaming about the size advantage. This will be PBF's third fight at 147 and he's been at that weight for 12 months. The size difference to 5'11" Margarito would be noticeable.

Baldomir will need to come forward and take the incoming damage all night long, but that's his only hope.

I can't fault PBF for challenging the real 147 champ because that's what you have to do to call yourself the best. If it's for considerably less than $8M, he's nonetheless a chump and Arum scored a PR KO.

No, he's not really. You can't compare him to a Castillo, who actually uses some skill in fighting the way he does. Baldomir throws looping punches that any decent defensive fighter could avoid for 10 rounds. He has no defense himself, leaving himself wide open for all sorts of counter punches. His chin is great, and his punch is good, and that is where the pro's stop.

Well then he certianly has some intangables, because hes the linear welterweight champ.

Of course, he has heart. He's no different than say a Jeff Lacy actually. Though I think Lacy has a lot more potential than Baldomir, or at least he did. He's terrible by elite status. Among all the fighters in the world, sure, he's ok. But far from a good fighter.

He does, but its more cause Judah totally underestimated him, so did Gatti. Floyd wont(unles he is ******ed idiot, which he is not). Floyd will study the ****er from A to Z, and will most likely win a landslide UD.

Thanks for the correction. I was posting on another thread and had Margarito on the brain.

              Props.

Eneve though Baldi is a swarmer(the most dangerous opponent for pure boxers), he is the kind of swarmer that PBf will ahve a field day with, he does not keep his punches compact and his combos are far from fast, He will come forward the whole fight, but floyd's ability to fight in a pocket will nullify Baldy's offense.

Floyd needs to fight Baldy, because Brian Kenny and some other people from the press thinks Baldy is the real champ.

So this fights needs to be done and I think baldy is a tougher fight then Margerito.

Also Baldy deserves this fight more then Margerito, Baldy actually has beaten guys like Judah and gatti which is more I can say Margerito.

Yes, true, but Gatti still underestimated him.
Which led to Carlos dominating the guy.(well not really, but beating him comfortly and ko'ing him)
